Split the restaurant bill
The bill arrives, one person had the set menu and another had seafood, and someone says “let's just split it”. Whoever ordered least pays more, and says nothing.

Splitting evenly suits whoever ordered most
An even split is quick, which is why people do it. But at a table of eight with two bottles of wine, three desserts and a couple of set menus, splitting evenly overcharges exactly the person who had the least. Once, it doesn't matter. Every Friday, it does.
Photograph the receipt, everyone marks their own
- Take a photo of the receipt. The app reads the lines: what each item is and what it cost.
- Each line goes to whoever ordered it. The wine among those who drank it, the dessert to whoever had it, the bread to everyone.
- The app works out each share and files it as a group expense, with whoever paid.

And if one person paid by card
That's the normal case: one pays and the rest "send it over later". The app records that they fronted the money, and everyone else owes their share. When it comes back, the payment closes when the person owed confirms it.
Not everyone needs the app
At a dinner for twelve, twelve people are not going to install anything. You can add them yourself even without an account, and their expenses still count.
Frequently asked questions
Does it read any receipt?
It reads normal restaurant and supermarket receipts. If a line comes out wrong you can fix it before saving: the app shows you what it read instead of filing it behind your back.
What if one person paid for everyone?
That's the usual case. It records that they fronted the money and everyone else owes their share. The payment closes when the person owed confirms it.
Does everyone at the table need the app?
No. You can add people without an account and their expenses still count.
