The problem isn't the money, it's remembering
Nobody argues over twenty euros. People argue because once you're home there's no way to reconstruct who paid for what: one person put the hotel on their card, the petrol was halved, two dinners were paid in cash and a ticket was bought by someone who wasn't even there that day.
Notes apps and spreadsheets fail for the same reason: somebody has to keep them up to date. On a trip, nobody does.
How it works
- Create the group and add everyone. They don't need the app: you can add them yourself and they can join later.
- Add each expense as it happens. Who paid, how much, and who it's split between. Several people can pay for the same thing.
- Balances update instantly: who owes what, and to whom.
- Settle with the fewest payments. Instead of everyone paying everyone, the app finds the shortest way to square up.
Splits that aren't equal
Hardly any travel expense splits evenly. The double room is for two, one person didn't drink at dinner and three skipped the museum. Split equally, by percentage, by exact amounts, or by picking who's in, expense by expense.
When someone says they already paid you back
Payments close with double confirmation: the payer marks it and the person owed confirms it. Until they do, it stays pending. It's not distrust — it means nobody has to rely on memory, and there's a record.

Is it free?
Yes. Creating groups, adding expenses, seeing balances and settling up are free and ad-free. Premium features (receipt scanning, place map, trip report and stats, unlimited groups) come with a 14-day trial.
Does everyone have to install it?
No. You can add someone without an account and their expenses still count. When they want in, you send them the invite link on WhatsApp.
What if several of us paid for the same thing?
That works. An expense can have several payers, each with what they put in, and be split differently from how it was paid.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Expenses you add without a signal are stored on your phone and sent as soon as you're back online.
